By using Acta Edge you agree to these terms. The most important point: Acta Edge is a decision training tool, not financial advice. Nothing in this product should be used as the basis for real trading decisions.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Acta Edge web application and any related services (collectively, "the Service"), operated by Acta Edge Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number: 17122761), whose registered office is at 4 Hemlock Close, L12 0AX, Liverpool, England ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Acta Edge.
Acta Edge is a decision training engine for traders. It allows you to log structured trade inputs, receive a process grade (A through D), and track patterns in your decision-making over time.
Acta Edge does not provide financial advice, investment advice, or trading recommendations of any kind. The grades, scores, feedback, and insights generated by the Service reflect the quality of your described process only — they are not predictions, endorsements, or assessments of any trade's financial merit. Do not make real financial decisions based on Acta Edge outputs alone.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.
All trade inputs in Acta Edge are self-reported. We have no ability to verify the accuracy of the information you log. The Service grades what you tell it — if you misreport inputs, the outputs will be misleading to you alone. The honest-data principle is fundamental to how the product works.
You agree not to:
The Service, including its design, scoring logic, copy, and all associated software, is owned by Acta Edge Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain full ownership of the trade data and notes you input. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.
We aim to keep Acta Edge available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Acta Edge Ltd shall not be liable for:
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £50 if you have paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any outputs will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
The Service integrates with Supabase, Resend, and Loops. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third-party provider.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting legal@actaedge.io. Your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We encourage you to contact us at legal@actaedge.io first — we will try to resolve issues informally before any formal proceedings.
Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Acta Edge Ltd regarding the Service.
